Commercial Insurance Account Executive

Bob has been with the agency since 1968 and is a licensed agent primarily for the commercial insurance department in the agency.

Bob's passion lies in hot rods and custom cars. He has a 1947 Chevy 2 door hot rod, 1952 Chevy convertible custom, 1962 Corvette, and a 1974 Corvette custom. He attends the local and out of state car shows. As an antique collector, most of his collection consists of auto related items.

Bob and Maggie got married in 1996. They have four children; Cynthia, Rick, Brian, and Rob. They also have six grandchildren.

Mike has been with the agency since June 1971 as a full time licensed agent specializing in commercial insurance. He also handles the corporate legal, accounting and computer technology issues.

You will know his favorite pastimes when you enter his office---hunting and fishing decorate the room. His prized trophies include Walleye, Brook Trout, and Pan Fish that he had caught and mounted. Fishing tackle memorabilia also cast the room. He enjoys gardening and working in the woods.

Mike is very community orientated with his involvement in the local service clubs such as: Antigo Kiwanis Club, Chamber of Commerce, Knights of Columbus and the Elks.

Mike is also a good cook. When a party comes up, leave it to him to make up a meal of fresh fish or wild game!

Mary Jo has been working as a part-time employee since February 2001 while attending college. She graduated in May 2003 with an Associate Degree in the Administrative Assistant program at Northcentral Technical College in Antigo. The advanced computer skills she learned in school make her a valuable employee.

Mary Jo and her husband Bob are proud parents of a baby girl, Rory Jo Ver Hagen, born in August of 2003.

Jeff has been with the agency since 1983, and is currently the vice president. He started his insurance career with Fidelity and Deposit in Milwaukee in 1979. Jeff is a property-casualty agent, primarily personal lines but also farm and small commercial.

He is member of the Optimist Club and Elks Club and is also very involved with Antigo Youth Basketball. He was a charter member of the Antigo High School Sports Hall of Fame.

Bruce joined the agency in the fall of 1998, becoming a partner in 2004. Prior to that, he was employed for another independent agency for 9 years. Bruce specializes in Personal Lines and small Business Insurance.

Bruce and his wife Betsy are lifelong residents on Antigo and enjoy golfing in the summer and snow skiing and snowmobiling in the winter.

Heather has been with the agency since December 1996. She is licensed for property and casualty insurance and is a customer service account specialists for the Personal Lines Department.

Heather has a love for the outdoors and enjoys walking, bike riding, baking, and gardening. During her spare time, over the weekend, she is busy clearing her land to build a home in the future.

Heather has two daughters, Emma and Ellie. The girls keep Heather and her husband busy with the outgoing and independent personalities.

Louie has been with the agency a long time! He started in September 1969. He retired from the agency as a full time agent in 2002 but he still works part-time and he can help you when you need health or life insurance. He sells policies to both individuals and groups. There are many companies to choose from and he can find the right one to satisfy your needs.

Everyone knows Louie because of his music. He plays the Trumpet and Baritone. Louie had his own polka band for many years and you can still hear his music on WATK and WACD radio every Saturday morning. He retired from his own band but still helps out other bands in the area.

In 2001, he was inducted into the Wisconsin Hall of Fame for bandleaders and disk jockeys. In 1979, he was named the Wisconsin Orchestra Leader of the year.

Kathy is the receptionist and has been with the agency since 1998.

She is busy with her son Kyle and his activities. Kyle is into soccer, baseball, swimming and playing guitar. Kathy enjoys going to all of his games and listening to him play.

Her husband Chris also plays baseball which keeps them all very busy in the spring. During the summer you can see her at the stock car races working in the tower. Kathy has several gardens in her yard with perennials and annuals and the family loves relaxing by the pool.

Debbie started with the company in October of 2004.  She currently is a personal insurance account assistant.

She and her husband Les are avid square danceers.  They are members of both the Antigo Gateway Squares and Wausau's Merry 8's square dancing clubs.  Other hobbies include gardening, auctions, and playing with their 2 cats.
